This privacy policy applies to the HeyBaby application ("Application") for mobile devices, created by Nadir Toprak ("Service Provider"). The Application is provided as a Freemium service and is intended for use "AS IS".
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This includes:
Device Information: IP address, operating system, and app usage statistics (time spent, pages visited).
User-Provided Content: To provide its core AI feature, the Service Provider requires your Email and User-Selected Media (the parent photos you choose). You select and upload these photos yourself from your device's photo library or camera; the Application does not scan your photo library, access photos in the background, or collect any image you do not explicitly select.
2. AI Data Processing and Third-Party Sharing
The core feature of HeyBaby generates an AI image of a predicted baby from the mother's and father's photos you provide. To do this, the Application transmits these photos to third-party AI infrastructure providers. This transmission only occurs after you grant explicit in-app consent on a dedicated consent screen, before any photo can be selected or leaves your device.
A. What Data is Sent
The parent photos (mother and father) you select within the app. These photos contain the parents' faces. No other personal data is attached to these photos.
B. Who the Data is Sent To, and How
The photos follow this exact path:
fal.ai, Inc. (United States) — receives the photos as the AI processing/infrastructure layer and routes them to the image-generation model.
Google LLC (United States) — the photos are processed by Google's Gemini image-generation model, which produces the AI baby image.
The generated image is then returned to your device through the same path.
C. Purpose and Protection
The photos are transmitted solely to generate the requested AI baby image. Both fal.ai and Google are bound by their respective data-processing terms, which provide protections equivalent to those described in this policy and prohibit using your personal media for their own independent purposes. We do not use your personal data, and do not permit these providers to use it, to train AI models without your explicit consent.
3. Face Data
The Application's core feature creates an AI image of a predicted baby from photos of two parents. Because those photos contain faces, we treat them as face data and handle them as described below.
What we collect: Two photos that you select — one of each parent. These photos contain the parents' faces. We do not scan your photo library or collect any photo you do not explicitly choose, and we do not extract faceprints, facial landmarks, or biometric templates.
How we collect it: You choose and upload each photo yourself from your device's photo library or camera, after giving in-app consent on a dedicated screen shown before any photo leaves your device.
How we use it: Solely to generate the AI baby image you request. Face data is never used to identify or authenticate you, never used to build a biometric profile, never used for advertising, never used to train AI models, and never sold.
No Biometric Identification: We do not use face data to identify, authenticate, or create biometric profiles of users.
Who we share it with: To produce the image, the photos are sent to our AI providers — fal.ai, Inc. (United States) and Google LLC (United States, via the Gemini model). Both are bound by their data-processing terms, which provide protections equivalent to those described in this policy.
Where it is stored and how long: The AI providers process the photos on the fly and delete them after processing (typically within 12 hours). The photos you select and the generated images are also stored in our secure backend (Google Firebase / Google Cloud, United States) so that you can view your generation history in the app. You can permanently delete all of this at any time from Settings → "Delete my data", and it is removed if you delete your account.
4. Third-Party Access for Analytics and Operations
The Application uses third-party services for analytics, monetization, and stability:
Infrastructure: Google Play Services, Firebase (Crashlytics & Analytics)
Monetization: AdMob, RevenueCat
5. User Consent and Opt-Out Rights
Before any photo is sent to the AI providers named in Section 2, the Application presents an in-app disclosure that identifies (a) exactly what data is sent (the mother's and father's photos, including their faces), and (b) the specific third parties it is sent to (fal.ai and Google/Gemini), and requires your explicit, affirmative agreement to proceed. This consent screen is shown before any photo can be selected, and no photo is transmitted unless you actively agree.
Opt-Out: You can decline consent at the disclosure screen — the Application cannot be used to generate images without your agreement — or stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application.
Data & Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your selected photos and generated images at any time using the "Delete my data" function in the Application's Settings, or by contacting us at nadoappsupport@gmail.com.
6. Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.
